Position Overview

Wrigley Media Group is seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our growing Post Production team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects—from nationally distributed television programming, feature films, and documentaries to branded content, commercials, digital campaigns, social media content, and corporate storytelling. No two projects are the same.

The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work closely with producers, directors, writers, clients, and fellow editors while utilizing both traditional post-production techniques and emerging AI-powered tools to create exceptional content.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble high-quality video content from rough cut through final delivery.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, writers, clients, and creative teams to bring stories to life.
  • Create engaging edits using strong storytelling principles, pacing, rhythm, and visual design.
  • Organize, ingest, transcode, log, manage, and archive media and project files.
  • Sequence A-roll and B-roll; perform audio editing, mixing, color correction, and finishing.
  • Create and integrate graphics, motion graphics, visual effects, and other creative elements.
  • Deliver content across multiple platforms and formats, including broadcast, streaming, digital, web, and social media.
  • Maintain organized project structures and media management workflows that enable seamless collaboration among editors.
  • Accurately log edit time, project assets, and deliverables within project management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with client confidentiality and data security requirements.
  • Utilize AI-powered creative and workflow tools to improve efficiency while maintaining premium production quality.
  • Stay current on editing trends, emerging technologies, AI tools, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge, feedback, and workflow improvements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience & Education

  • 5–10+ years of professional video editing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Media Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional portfolio and demo reel demonstrating storytelling and editing expertise.

Technical Requirements

Candidates should have experience with:

  • Avid Media Composer
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
    • After Effects
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • Audition
    • Media Encoder
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Media management and post-production workflow
  • Broadcast, streaming, digital, and social media delivery standard
  • Multiple camera formats, codecs, frame rates, resolutions, and file workflows

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for text, image, audio, and video workflows
  • Motion graphics and visual effects experience.
  • After Effects skills including 2D animation, 3D object manipulation, visual effects, and basic expressions.
  • Experience working across multiple content formats, including television, documentary, commercial, branded, corporate, and digital content.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Typical working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM EST. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on production schedules and project deadlines.
